New York is calling our name this holiday season, that’s for sure!
You fell in love with them in Evita, now Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin are returning to Broadway this November with their smash concert show!
“An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin” has been playing dates around the world for the last few years, but it will finally find a more permanent residence at the Barrymore Theatre starting Nov. 16.
The show ranges from solos to duets, , Sondheim to Rodgers and Hammerstein, and presents scenes from classic shows like “South Pacific” and “Carousel.” Of working with the incomparable Patti Lupone, Mandy says:
“To be onstage with Patti is as good as it gets for me. When I look into her eyes, I’m 30 years younger instantly. We’re right back in time and I’m just in heaven. I’m only sad when the evening’s over.”
Men just don’t like that anymore, you know?! What a guy!
Best of luck bring the show back home again you two, but you won’t need it! The Great White Way is where you belong! Never leave it again!!!!
