Redmond O'Neal's Family Speaks Out On His Ongoing Struggle With Drugs

Redmond O’Neal was pulled over for a traffic violation Tuesday when police allegedly found marijuana and heroin in his car.

The cops immediately arrested him, and searched his house where they found a loaded handgun.

According to his father, Ryan O’Neal, the poor guy never recovered from the death of his mother, Farrah Fawcett.

His sister, Tatum O’Neal, is hopeful but realistic, saying:

He’s an addict. Addicts keep using until they want to stop. We’re praying for him every day.

A judge ordered “tough love” for Redmond, keeping him locked up without bail until his hearing on August 24.

This is so incredibly sad. We hope this sends a message to him, because we don’t want to see anything worse happening to Redmond!
