STELLAAAAAAA Cast In Streetcar Named Desire Revival!

It’s one of Tennessee Williams’ best, if not his best, and there are a lot of former actresses to live up to in this role. Still, we think she can handle it.

Ya’ll probably know Daphne Rubin-Vega best from her role in the original production of Rent, but Daphne has just been cast as Stella in the upcoming Broadway production of A Streetcar Named Desire.

She joins an already impressive cast with Blair Underwood as Stanley and Nicole Ari Parker as Blanche. No word yet on where the production will be held and when in spring it will debut.

Best of luck to you, Daphne! Such a raw talent – we’re sure you’ll do wonderfully!
