Three of the Seven Dwarfs were arrested in El Lay this week for allegedly stealing a 30-pack of Tecate beer!
Andy Huynh (Dopey), Nicholas Kalscheuer (Grumpy) and Nicholas Fiumetto (Bashful), all 19, were arrested Wednesday on charges of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
According to the Covina police report, the whole thing was pretty cartoonish!
Apparently, Huynh drove the get-away car into a curb — and then a store employee — while trying to escape.
Fiumetto climbed a fence and ran into the Citrus Car Wash next door, like literally into the car wash.
The car wash manager said at the time,
“there were two cars being washed in the tunnel. He got into the wash and the rollers and got all wet. By the time, he came out of the car wash, the officer was already on the other end of the tunnel. It was kind of funny. It was a nice show.”
All three men are expected to be arraigned in court Friday. Until then, they are being held in Covina City Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Oh, and we’re also gonna unofficially charge them for bad taste in beer.
