According to him, he hasn’t written it yet!
You know what we love about Chris Colfer? Like REALLY love about him? He is always looking forward. The doors to this business have been opened to him and he is not wasting a second of this opportunity. He’s a tiny man with big dreams and an equally big enough heart to get through anything.
While at the New Yorker Festival this weekend, Chris took time out for his Glee fans to answer a few of their diehard questions. While the show was the primary focus of the Q&A, he did talk briefly about his new movie, Struck By Lightening and his new children’s book, The Land of Stories, a project inspired by his sister and their relationship after she was diagnoesed with a rare form of epilepsy. He explains:

“I had this old book of fairytales that my mom was given by her mom. I’ll never forget because you opened the pages and all the illustrations were actual pictures of dolls in freeze form of the story. I remember in the moment never wanting an escape more ever, I wanted to literally dive into the book. I then came up with the story about these two twins that went to fairytale world and all the adventures they had, adventures I wanted to experience rather than what I was going through. I promised myself then if I ever had the opportunity to write it in a book, I would.”

Chris then went back to the topic at hand, Glee, and went into detail about his relationship with Darren Criss – who he admits is a “good kisser” – and Kurt’s relationship with Blaine, which is about to take a MAJOR step in episode five. When asked about the the upcoming episode entitled “The First Time,” Chris shared:

“I know you know! I will say that I have never loved Kurt and Blaine more, and I really think, without trying to give us credit that we don’t deserve, I really feel like Kurt and Blaine are a modern version of Lucy and Ricky. (Laughs) Oh, I’m Lucy for sure. I’m excited there’s finally a lot of development with them.”

And so are we! So is everyone!
But Chris ambitions haven’t stopped there. Besides a hit series, a book and writing his own movie, Chris has one more goal in mind. When asked if he would like to star on Broadway like Darren and what dream roles he would like to play, Chris simply answered, “I haven’t written them yet.”
But we have no doubt that you will and we can’t wait to see what amazing thing you turn out for the Great White Way.
Such a trailblazer! We’re so proud!!!
