We reported this morning that Brooke Mueller had been arrested for possession of cocaine and assault in the third degree in Aspen last night, and now, new details are coming out about how the former Mrs. Charlie Sheen got herself in this latest mess!
According to city’s police department, officers were doing a “routine walk through” of the club Belly Up Aspen when a woman approached them and claimed that Brooke had assaulted her. Officers then found her at the home at which she’s staying there, and according to a spokesperson:
“Mueller was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree (class one misdemeanor) and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (class four felony). Mueller posted bond of $11,000 and was released with a District Court date of December 19, 2011.”
And a friend close to her continues:
“How do you help someone like Brooke? Her parents even moved to Los Angeles to take care of her and help her take care of her kids, and that didn’t even help. With this latest development, her friends are beyond caring anymore.”
Ouch. This just keeps getting sadder and sadder.
But ultimately, her friends and loved ones can only do so much.
It has to be Brooke that ultimately decides that she wants to get better. We just hope that she does.
