Adele's About To Sink Titanic's Record! 15th Week At #1 With 21

The new year is looking just as bright as the last for Adele! (Now let’s hope she stays well enough to enjoy it!)
For the 15th straight week, Adele’s 21 album is the #1 selling album on the Billboard 200 chart, pushing 124,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan. While that’s down 14% from the week before, the album remains the only one to move over 100,000 this week; Drake’s Take Care came in at #2 with 42K copies sold.
Now, it’s very likely that the disc will stay on top through next week, since no new is on the way. If it does, it will tie with the Titanic soundtrack’s record, which stayed afloat for 16 weeks at the #1 spot. But we just have to wonder … could Adele best the disc all together and got for 17 weeks?!
We shall see!
