SJP has complete faith in Warner Bros. and the people in charge of The Carrie Diaries. She feels if she gave lil’ Carrie any advice, it wouldn’t be fair to her.
She explains:
I would never give advice. No, no, no. It’s like someone giving romance advice or parenting advice. It’s such a unique experience, playing a part and I’m sure they found someone wonderful. I’m sure it will be [fun to watch], definitely. I think it’s wonderful that people want to hear Carrie’s story, and I understand. Peter Roth, [President of Warner Bros. TV] is smart and wonderful and funny and I’m sure it will be in excellent hands.

Well we don’t know about you, but we’re definitely anticipating The Carrie Diaries! Not sure if we’re gonna love it as much as SatC.. but can they honestly expect that kind of attention? We doubt it.
