We are thrilled to premiere the Broadway star’s FIRST single – Drive!
When we first heard this song, we recognized a universal message we ALL need at some time or another. In fact, Cheyenne explains like this:
I wanted to write a song about keeping forward momentum in your life, and having the strength to leave a situation that you know in your heart is bad for you. It ended up being melancholy, but ultimately hopeful and optimistic, just like me.
Oooh trust us, Chey… it is!! It definitely is!!
We’re really impressed by the single, and since this is his non-theatrical music debut, we figured the songwriting process must have been CRAZY liberating!
According to him, we were right:
I felt like my head was exploding, because not only did I know that this was exactly what I was supposed to be doing, it kind of changed my perspective on everything. The songs started pouring out of me, and I’m more proud of this work than any part I’ve ever done.
It truly is a masterpiece! And we know he’s put in A LOT of time and passion into it.
