Welp! There goes another sinking ship dedicated fan!
According to one mother, the goddess we know as Kate Winslet was NOT acting first-class when she flew Virgin Atlantic on June 11.
MaMa Bear says her teen daughters asked the Oscar-winner for an autograph, and while Kate said she’d come back and visit them later, she never did!
She explains:
“My two daughters asked for an autograph about half an hour into the six and a half hour flight and she told them she would come back later and visit. Well, that never happened. It was very sad that she couldn’t be bothered.”
Hold on. We’re not done. Apparently she did offer to sign a couple of books, but it all had to go down through a flight attendant.
But that wasn’t good enough for her:
“I am sad that she told the girls she’d visit with them. She could have just said she didn’t give autographs and the girls would have understood. They would have been disappointed but not disillusioned. My daughters have dumped their Titanic and Holiday DVDs vowing never to watch her movies again.”
Ouch! A lil’ harsh, no?
Look, we’re not excusing gurlfriend’s diva behavior. But at least she remembered to sign the autographs!
It’s a lot more than the Shelburne folks got when she snubbed ’em all in the rainy cold, that’s for sure!!
