Remember last Friday when Michael Lohan attempted to stage an intervention for daughter Lindsay by storming her house, only to be turned away by someone claiming to be the troubled actress’ boyfriend?
Yeah, we were just as confused by that, too!
In between getting into fights with Congressional staffers, her mother, and possibly hitting civilians with her car, we didn’t know that gurl had managed to find the time for romance!
However, we now know that the gentleman in question is 25-year-old Josh Chunn, a former cheerleader for the University of Louisana’s Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns who lives down the street from the actress and recently started seeing her, as he’s opened up about life with Lindsay, her personal troubles, and the failed intervention from daddy dearest!
He explains:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóve been trying to get Lindsay to focus. But how do you get her to focus with all the stuff going on around her? I can barely focus. She├óΓé¼Γäós a strong girl. She├óΓé¼Γäós cleaning up. I just want her to be okay. I want us to be okay. [Turning away Michael] It kind of put me in an awkward place. She said, ├óΓé¼╦£No, no. I don├óΓé¼Γäót want him here. Why are you even talking to him?├óΓé¼Γäó I feel his pain. I get it. He├óΓé¼Γäós just out to help her. [Drugs and partying are] not my thing. I├óΓé¼Γäóm into hikes and fishing and outdoors. That├óΓé¼Γäós what I├óΓé¼Γäóm always trying to get Lindsay to do. I think I├óΓé¼Γäóm the best influence on her. The deal is she is surrounded by a bunch of f—ups. I├óΓé¼Γäóm there for Lindsay. I listen. I work hard for my money. I pay my own bill when we go out. I have a schedule. That├óΓé¼Γäós the problem with these kids in L.A., they don├óΓé¼Γäót have a schedule. All they want to do is party. I see all these people just waiting for her (Lindsay) to grab the bill. I├óΓé¼Γäóm just trying to figure out what├óΓé¼Γäós best for her at this time right now.├óΓé¼┬¥
Wow!
Dare we say that this kid sounds like he’s making quite a bit of sense?! Not to mention providing quite a bit of insight into the people she surrounds herself with…and even sympathizing with her father’s plight!
Of course, LiLo has since taken to Twitter to DENY everything he has said, instead writing:

Especially because Chanel, Hermes, and diamonds aren’t going to care about you enough to want to see you healthy, gurl!
Such a shame!
We just sincerely hope that whether it’s this guy or not, she just finds people who actually can steer her in a better direction!
Things are starting to get pretty scary, and we really don’t want to see anything bad happen to her!
