Almost a month after Charlie Sheen generously donated $100,000 to Lindsay Lohan to help settle her debt to the IRS, the troubled actress FINALLY got around to sending him a thank you note after he publicly revealed that he had yet to hear ANYTHING from her at all!
Of course, it should come as no surprise that Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan has also spoken out on behalf of her family to thank her daughter’s Scary Movie 5 co-star, and in an EXCLUSIVE statement to PerezHilton.com, she says:
“Lindsay continues to feel an immeasurable respect and love for her dear friend Charlie Sheen. They have a deep bond and she has expressed privately her sincerest gratitude to Charlie for his immense generosity on her behalf. She and I are deeply appreciative for his kindest of gestures. Charlie you are a true gentleman.”
WELL. Once again, better late than never!
Even if the only reason it wasn’t ‘never’ was because he publicly put them on blast!
But hey! We’re glad Dina took a moment to share her appreciation for his kindness!
After all, that $40,000 she took from Lindsay to keep her house out of foreclosure could have been VERY helpful toward all of those back taxes!
