Zooey Deschanel and her piercing blue eyes are looking cute on the cover Marie Claire magazine’s May issue.
When she wasn’t posing for Tesh‘s camera, The New Girl opened up about the single life, babies and bullies.

On whether she’s dating:
“Honestly, I├óΓé¼Γäóm just going through a divorce, so I don├óΓé¼Γäót really think that├óΓé¼Γäós something I want to get into now. I don├óΓé¼Γäót have time to date. I literally ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ don├óΓé¼Γäót-have-time.”
On not wanting children:
“That├óΓé¼Γäós never been my focus├óΓé¼┬ªMy sister [Emily] was always very motherly, babysitting and stuff. I like kids, and I like being around kids ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ but it was never an ambition, something, like, I need├óΓé¼┬ªI like working. That├óΓé¼Γäós what I like doing. I like to work.”
On being bullied as a child for being chubby:
“I still have in me the same awareness when I was 12 and chubby and a girl was spitting in my face. I├óΓé¼Γäóm the same person. Certainly you change, and you change perspective, you have other experiences. But isn├óΓé¼Γäót it funny ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I can still remember when I was treated differently from the way I├óΓé¼Γäóm treated now.”
