Sleep not only makes you feel refreshed, but apparently it helps you shed the pounds!
A recent study found that the more sleep you get, the more it helps lose weight if you are dieting.
Dieters who slept 8.5 hours a night lost 55% more body fat than those who slept 5.5 hours!!
Not getting enough sleep can effect the hormone ghrelin, which is connected to appetite and weight. Dieters who slept less were often more hungry throughout the day than those who got a full 8.5 hours.
Hmm…maybe we should all work on getting some more sleep??
