Researchers in Japan have taken the idea of “beer goggles” to make a pair of diet goggles!
These goggles, unlike beer goggles, are actual goggles (NOT pictured above. LOLz!) that you wear that have a computer inside that magnifies the size of whatever you’re holding while keeping your hand the same size!
That’s crazy!
So it makes your slider look like a full steakhouse burger with all the fixins!
A study found that people actually ate 10% less while wearing the goggles.
They even made some headgear that emits smells so that if you were eating a plain piece of stale bread, it would taste like a chocolate cookie!
Sadly, the maker doesn’t plan to sell the goggles or mass produce them.
So we guess it’s back to the old portion control game of using smaller plates and cooking less.
Sigh…
