Happy (belated) birthday!!
Katy Perry turned 27 yesterday!
For her birthday, if any of her fans were looking to give her a gift, she asked that they donate to the ASPCA.
She set up a donation page to benefit the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
She tweeted:
“Thanks for the sweet B-day messages! For my b-day I have set up a donation page @http://www.aspca.org/katyperry The voice for ANIMALS! Give if u can!”
On her ASPCA donations page she left a message that said:
“Thank you to everyone for your donations! These funds will make a lot more kittens (& other animals) happy in this world!”
It’s always great to see a celeb use their influence to really try and do something good in the world.
She’s so awesome.
