Weren’t we all??
Julia Roberts admits that playing the clarinet and oboe in school didn’t win her any popularity contests.
She reveals:

“[I was] just mediocre, just getting through the hallways with my girlfriend Paige. We weren├óΓé¼Γäót losers, but we weren├óΓé¼Γäót popular, we were just coasting, that is exactly what we were doing.”

Paige eventually became the godmother to Julia’s daughter Hazel.
Boys didn’t take notice until “late” either, in which she says:

“But it was good timing for me, but, it was latish. I was dramatic, I wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót say I was theatrical.”

As for her upcoming role as the Evil Queen in Snow White, has she told her kids yet about the iconic role?

“I haven├óΓé¼Γäót like spelled it out that I├óΓé¼Γäóm the Evil Queen. Because I showed them [Disney├óΓé¼Γäós] Snow White and they had nightmares and they cried.”

Aw, poor babies! We have a feeling they might need to wait until they’re a bit older to enjoy the movie.
As for Julia being a late bloomer in school, we can only imagine those boys are kicking themselves now for not noticing her earlier! Their loss!
