Of course there is — it certainly doesn’t make you a better driver. But according to new science, it CAN help stop metastasis in aggressive cancers!
We’re not sure you’re understanding the gravity of this: the compound derived from marijuana could stop metastasis, potentially altering the fatality of the disease forever.
That’s incredible — and it took us 20 years to figure it out!
Here’s what one researcher says:
“It took us about 20 years of research to figure this out, but we are very excited. We want to get started with trials as soon as possible.”
It’s just waiting for human trial approval!!
ID-1 is what causes cancer to spread, so they’ve been looking at the compound taken from weed, called Cannabidiol, or CBD, which is a non-toxic, non-psychoactive chemical compound.
They found that CBD basically “turns off” ID-1!
Is it safe though? Yep! The researcher continues:
“We’ve found no toxicity in the animals we’ve tested, and Cannabidiol is already used in humans for a variety of other ailments.”
The only problem, he says, is this:
“We used injections in the animal testing and are also testing pills. But you could never get enough Cannabidiol for it to be effective just from smoking.”
That’s right — you can’t smoke the cancer right out of you, riding a delightful high the entire time! It doesn’t work like that. But it DOES bode well for people realizing that marijuana isn’t a demon!
