X Factor Musical In The Works! Simon Cowell APPROVES!

Wait wait wait… a musical about a show that looks for the next big pop star?
We dig it!
And apparently so does X Factor‘s main daddy Simon Cowell, who attended a workshop of the under-construction project back in January!
The stern judge tweeted:

The X Factor musical — which apparently includes a Simon Cowell-type character played by Alexander Hanson in the workshop — tells the tale of a young African American girl living in a trailer park with her ill grandfather who auditions for The X Factor and, well…
