We’ve been hearing the rumors since last September, and they only seemed more based in fact when he dumped his co-star and girlfriend Peta Murgatroyd only a month before the new season is set to begin in March!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy will no longer appear on Dancing with the Stars!

According to sources with production of the reality competition, the 33-year-old dancer, who has been with the show since its second season in 2006, gave his two weeks notice to producers a few days ago, and confirmed he will not be back for the new season, as he is interested in pursuing new projects in the film and television world!
Can’t say we blame him!
How many years can someone rip his shirt off and grind up against Kirstie Alley or Mel B, after all?!
Variety is the spice of life, and we’re more than certain that we will see much more Maksim acting all sorts of SPICY somewhere else…and very soon!
