Shailene Woodley's Big Year Gets Bigger As She Lands The Lead Role In The Fault In Our Stars!

To say Shailene Woodley is having a good year would be a bit of an understatement, because homegurl is EVERYWHERE!
First she started working alongside Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man’s love interest Mary Jane, much to the disappointment of Emma Stone. Then she was offered the lead role in the post-apocalyptic YA novel-turned-movie Divergent.
Now it looks like she’s also going to play the lead role in the film adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel The Fault in Our Stars!
Director Josh Boone claims out of the hundreds of girls to read for the part, Shailene clearly stood out from the rest, saying:

“Over 250 girls read for the part, but it wasn’t until Shailene stepped in front of the camera that I truly saw Hazel for the first time. It was like lightning striking. I can’t wait for the rest of the world to see what I have.”

We can’t wait either!
Most actresses her age would be happy to just land one of these roles, but Shailene has nabbed all three and she’s still only 21!!
What’s even more impressive is the wide range of characters she’ll be portraying, from the ass-kicking Beatrice Prior in Divergent to the teenage cancer patient who falls in love in The Fault in Our Stars.
Shailene already wowed critics for her role in The Descendants, and now it looks like she├óΓé¼Γäós ready to blow the doors wide open! This is just the beginning for the young actress, and right now it looks like the sky’s the limit!
