This development is unbelievably heartbreaking!
Another victim has been identified in yesterday’s horrific attack on Boston: 29-year-old Krystle Campbell of Medford, Mass..
Sadly, she wasn’t even a runner in the marathon. Krystle was waiting for her friend’s boyfriend to finish the race when bombs went off near the end of the course and killed her.
Her father, William A. Campbell Jr., spoke about the shock and grief he is experiencing.
He said:
“My daughter was the most lovable girl. She helped everybody, and I’m just so shocked right now. We’re just devastated. She was a wonderful, wonderful girl. Always willing to lend a hand.”
Ugh! That’s just so so so so sad!
Our hearts and well-wishes extend to Krystle’s loved ones and the countless other’s affected by yesterday’s soul-crushingly turbulent attack on one of our nation’s great cities.
Eight-year-old Martin Richard is another one of the confirmed victims. He and his family were running away from the first blast when the second bomb went off and took the poor boy’s life.
