Honey Boo Boo's Mama June Shannon Did NOT Get Legally Married!!!

We knew Mama June Shannon wasn’t a June bride- but it turns out she wasn’t a bride at all!!
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch did NOT get married to longtime live-in love Sugar Bear, as was initially reported!
The event wasn’t a wedding but a “commitment ceremony”, and it wasn’t legally binding. Mama June said:

“The day was very special mostly because my girls were able to take part in it. I felt like it was important for them to see this moment and celebrate my love for Sugar Bear.”

Aw! That’s nice that they could have their special day. But why NOT make it official? Hmm…
Does June not want to change her name to Mama Bear?!
Too bad! It would have given the story of Goldilocks an interesting new visual! LOLz!
