A scuba diver is about to do laps around a prison yard instead of the water after getting busted with a bunch of weed he was trying to smuggle into the country!
How much can a scuba diver even carry without just being completely weighed down? We’re not sure, but this one was caught with EIGHT POUNDS of it — which is probably not Jesse Zunti‘s best decision in his 24 years on the planet.
He was busted in Marine City, Mich., after crossing St. Clair River, when a citizen called Saint Clair County Police to report someone swimming across the river. After he was arrested, police said:
“It’s quite the swim. We’ve had people bring marijuana across in other ways, boats and the like. But I’d never heard of a scuba diver trying before this. ”
Yeah, because you usually can’t catch them! Ha!
As of right now, he’s been charged with one count of delivering and manufacturing marijuana — a four year felony! He’s being held on a $100,000 bail, too!
