Blake Shelton Meets Puppy Named After Him On TODAY

Blake Shelton was just on TODAY, hanging out with his favorite news anchors.

It certainly wasn’t his first rodeo as far as being on the show goes.

He had been on the air with them before, via a phone call, talking with Hoda Kotb about her decision not to name her dog Blake.

After a short discussion, she pretty quickly ended up naming her new puppy dog Blake. Ha!

So finally, Blake was able to meet his namesake!!

While on TODAY he got to actually cuddle the cutie pooch!

He said:

“I love him. I’ve seen so many pictures of him that I feel like I know him.”

Aww! That’s so sweet! He loves her lil pupster.

The black and white cockapoo was adopted by Hoda after she did a segment on rescue dogs!

So he’s a rescue and a Shelton├óΓé¼┬ª sounds just about perfect to us!
