An extremely scary ordeal played out in New Jersey last night, when a lone gunman opened fire at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus.
SWAT team members responded to the incident, filling the mall’s parking lot with cars and armored trucks—hoping to keep everyone safe.
During a mandatory lockdown of the shopping center, many of our favorite Jersey celebs took to Twitter expressing their concern for the people trapped inside the 2.2-million square foot facility, while police tried to capture the man responsible for gun shots:

Authorities revealed this morning that the suspect was found dead inside a construction zone within the mall from what appeared to be a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
We’re so glad everyone’s safe and continue to pray that things like this stop happening.
