Matthew McConaughey went all out for his role in the Dallas Buyers Club — not only by learning his lines, but also by losing a SCARY amount of weight to get the look right!!
He’s been pretty mum so far as to the whole experience, only giving us bits and pieces of how he did it and how he felt after all 48 of those pounds disappeared, but leave it up to Ellen to get him to open up!
It was as tough as you imagine!!
He looks fab now, though! We’re glad he was safe about it!
