According to the AP, because of his drunk driving arrest, Charles Barkley has been shoved off the sportsdesk at Turner Sports.

Barkley will be off the air for a minimum of several weeks, and no return date has been set, said a person familiar with the situation.

The source requested anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter.

Test results show that the former basketball star had a blood-alcohol level of .149 at the time of his arrest, nearly twice the legal limit of .08 in Arizona.

Crazy! And he’s a big dude – so it must have taken A LOT of booze to get him hammered!

Bet Barkley is paying some hefty legal fees to face that in court!
