We LOVE that Rebel Wilson and Melissa McCarthy are proud women, regardless of their weight! It’s all about the success they’ve found and their adoring fans!
That’s why we don’t really think it’s necessary to make a pact to not lose weight! Making a pact to NOT be persuaded by Hollywood is different — but if your health and your own will wants you to lose weight, you shouldn’t fight it!
However, it sounds like these two have made a pact to not give in to the pressures of Hollywood (good for you, gals), and according to a source, this is the promise they’ve made to each other:
“Rebel and Melissa have known each other for five years and there’s a lot of love there. Neither one of them is trying to lose weight and they’ve formed this little support group to keep each other from falling into the skinny Hollywood trap.”
Apparently this insider thinks the media is dying to see what they’d look like thin. Maybe that’s the case for some, but at least for us, any urging to lose weight comes from a place of health and happiness! As long as they have both, we’re happy with just they way they are!
The source continued:
“Obviously, they could both snap their fingers and lose the weight because of the resources they have available to them — which could include everything from personal trainers to Lap Band surgery — but right now they’re agreeing with each other that they have to hold the line and provide a positive image for overweight girls everywhere.
There will be plenty of time for dieting years from now, but Rebel and Melissa are determined to stay at their current sizes for now.”
Like we said — we’re all for these ladies making their own body decisions, especially if they’re happy and healthy! We’re also willing to bet that Rebel and Melissa are smart enough to put their health first if they need to, regardless of a pact!
These ladies are too talented and amazeballz to lose!
