This is just too sad.
Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s struggle with addiction was known by the public, but none of us could’ve predicted it was this horrible.
We told you earlier that he was dealing with far greater demons than we might’ve thought, but now details about his drug situation the day he passed are coming out. And those details are absolutely heartbreaking.
It is now being reported by law enforcement officials that Philip had about 50 bags of what appears to be heroin in his apartment. He also supposedly had several bottles of prescription drugs and more than 20 used syringes in a plastic cup at his New York place.
This just adds even more pain to the already difficult passing.
We sincerely hope that his loved ones find some peace during this tragedy.
And we also hope that this passing helps others realize that they should seek help when it’s needed.
