We hope this murder trial wraps up quickly, so justice can be served.
A New Jersey father named Arthur Morgan III is charged with tossing his 2-year-old daughter into a creek while she was still strapped into her car seat. He also is accused of weighing the seat down with a tire-changing jack in order to make sure it sank immediately.
The atrocious incident happened in Shark River Park in Wall, New Jersey.
His daughter Tierra Morgan-Glover was declared missing after the father failed to return her home to her mother after his trip with her to the movies, and her body was found in November 2011.
An autopsy later revealed that the daughter was alive when her car seat hit the water. Horrifying.
The father fled to California after the murder of his daughter, and was later located in San Diego after a nationwide search where he was apprehended by a fugitive recovery task force.
The murder trial is set to begin today where Mr. Morgan faces life in prison without parole, and also a fifteen year sentence to be served consecutively. You know, just to make sure.
