Melbourne-based company Jafflechutes is making it’s way to New York City, and we can already tell it’s going to be a hit.
The crowd-funded business works by people ordering their sandwiches online, paying through PayPal, and then waiting outside of a window where ‘X’ literally marks the spot for the sandwich to float down.
As for the name, ‘jaffle’ is what they call a ‘grilled cheese’ in Australia!
So, all of you New Yorkers, good news! This business is headed your way, but the location is a secret for now.
However, the founders have said that they’re just in this business for the fun of it, so once that ends, they’re happy closing up shop.
Hopefully they have fun doing this for a long time though because what a great idea!
