According to footage obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, the pop star and, reportedly, the Orange is the New Black alum crashed a high school prom at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne on August 15, 2010 — just hours before the alleged sexual assault. In the clip, Katy grabs a mic and sings Beyoncé‘s Single Ladies while a bunch of teens dance. She also attempts to bust a move with them, as the crowd takes a few seconds to realize the A-lister is at their prom. Ruby is also reportedly there, but she is not anywhere in the video. What started as a fun and carefree day for Katy and Ruby later turned into a complete nightmare, the actress claimed over the weekend. Following the prom, the pair went to the nightclub called Spice Market. It is there that Ruby, who was in her early 20s at the time, alleged Katy “pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting v****a on my face” until she “projectile” vomited.
The Firework singer has since denied the accusations. However, an investigation has been launched into the alleged incident after Ruby filed a police report in Australia on Monday.
