Move over Queen Latifah, Wynonna and Valerie Bertinelli, there’s a new weight loss bitch in town!
NutriSystem has just announced their latest spokesperson – The Go-Go’s Belinda Carlisle.
At least it wasn’t the Walk Like An Egyptian chick!
According to the company’s press release, Carlisle wanted to shed 20 pounds before her 50th birthday last year. That’s when the singer turned to NutriSystem’s weight loss program.
Now Belinda is said to be “more energetic today than ever before.”
In a recent interview Belinda says, “It’s pretty well known that I’ve struggled with my weight. I’m not about deprivation at all. When I moved to the south of France 10 years ago it taught me to celebrate food and not make it an enemy — people in my business usually do. When this came along it was really easy for me.”
