The Ultraviolence singer got super candid with Complex magazine and we just love that about her!
It is widely known that Lana writes most of the songs on her albums. She started off as a songwriter before snagging her first record deal, so it’s understandable to believe many of her songs come from her own experiences.
Case in point, her song, F*cked My Way To The Top, on her latest album, Ultraviolence. Makes you wonder if she did or didn’t, right?
In her interview with the mag, they asked asked if that specific song should be taken literally or figuratively and LDR gave the best answer ever!
She revealed:

“It’s commentary, like, “I know what you think of me,” and I’m alluding to that. You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying.”

It’s so annoying when sleeping with “prominent” people in the biz gets you no where!
LOLz! We’re totally kidding, but srsly, we LOVE how honest she is!
Not many artists would admit to sleeping with industry insiders, let alone sleeping with them with ulterior motives!
