When one drops out, another will come in to take their place.
And that’s exactly what happened here!
Many folks were upset to hear yesterday that Rita Ora would not be performing at the Teen Choice Awards, but fans of Becky G were probably pretty happy!
That’s because the 17-year-old has been tabbed to replace Rita, and perform in the big show!
The news was announced on the show’s official Twitter page where a tweet was sent out that said:

That news was announced directly after they had tweeted:
BREAKING NEWS: Rita Ora will not be performing at this year Teen Choice Awards anymore. Bummer Saturday.

Meanwhile Becky G tweeted out the photo (above) and also wrote:

We’re glad to see Becky G getting such a huge opportunity, but we also feel pretty bad for Rita who, after the news had come, tweeted out:
Guys I am so sorry. I will make it up too you. I promise. I’m devastated. I love my fans.

We’re sure she will make it up to them sooner than they will ever know!
And we hope Becky G, assuming that she rocks tonight which we’re sure she will, sends Rita a BIG thank you card soon!
