NeNe Leakes Is Heading To Broadway To Go After Sweet Cinderella!

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Broadway is about to get sassier.
With the Broadway show ending its run in January, they just leaked the fact that NeNe Leakes will be joining the cast in its final months of production!
The Real Housewives star snagged the role of Cinderella’s stepmother, Madame, and will start her role on November 25th alongside Keke Palmer!
NeNe couldn’t contain herself, she revealed the great news to Twitter, saying:

It's official! I am headed 2 BROADWAY CINDERELLA Nov 25th. Ain't God good 2 a little black girl from Athens Ga 👉 http://t.co/R1XdJq74Un

NeNe will be taking over for Sherri Shepherd, who starts her role as Madame at the beginning of September.
The 46-year-old definitely has some big shoes to fill after Fran Drescher‘s portrayal of the evil character on stage, but we’re sure she’ll be fabulous at it!
