Leave it to Rebel Wilson to speak the truth!
The comedic actress has been making people laugh since she came onto the scene as Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect — maybe even before that!
But Rebel doesn’t think it’s just her talent that makes people laugh. She believes her weight plays a big part in it all and the best part is, she totally owns it!

The Australian actress tells Daily Life:
“I took something that was seen as a disadvantage ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ no one thinks, if you’re fat, that you’re going to be an actress and everyone’s going to love you ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and turned it into a positive. And bigger girls do better in comedy. I don’t know why. Maybe because people find it easier to laugh. It’s very hard to laugh at someone who’s very attractive, I think. And normally those people don’t have a great personality anyway.”
Actually, we’re going to have to disagree. Zac Efron is very attractive and we’re pretty sure he has a great personality! LOLz!
But… what happens if Fat Amy becomes, well, a twig b*tch?
Rebel went on to say:
“I do have these dreams, like, ‘What if I just went to a health farm and lost 50 kilos? What would happen? Would it affect my career?’ But then I think, that’s never going to happen.”
We don’t think weight loss would affect her career too much! She has more comedic talent than most do in their tiny pinky fingers!
The 28-year-old is just an inspiration to us all! Stay true to yourself, girl!
