MTV just suffered another heartbreak.
On Saturday, a helicopter carrying two people working for the reality show The Challenge crashed in Argentina leaving both passengers dead. While the identities of the victims remains unknown, the network confirmed they weren’t cast or crew members.

Apparently, the vehicle crashed into the water while “en route to a shooting location”. Sadly, the wreckage lies 200 feet below the surface and rescuers are having trouble recovering the bodies.
So unfortunate.
Considering the network has lost many family members this year, we hope 2016 holds better times.
