Hypothesis: Gwen Stefani has begun dressing a little more country since dating Blake Shelton.

1. October 30, 2015 — Rumors began swirling in September that Gwennie Gwen and Blake were more than just “good friends” and colleagues on The Voice. A day before Halloween the two were even spotted holding hands at a party. And just what costume did Gwen wear on that fateful night?
DUN DUN DUN!
She was a cowgirl!!!
2. October 4, 2015 — Gwen loves coveralls. And so do farmers.
3. November 8, 2015 — Gwen loves denim coveralls. And so do farmers.
4. December 12, 2015 — Here she is in jeans caked in mud and a camouflage jacket on her arm. It’s like she just returned from hunting ducks in the Louisiana bayou.
5. December 13, 2015 — This dress looks like Gwen stole all of Blake’s plaid shirts and stitched them together. There’s even fringe!
6. January 21, 2016 — People don’t wear trucker hats much anymore, unless those people are hardcore God fearin’ country folk, or like, actual truckers. So Gwen wearing one is significant, and the Harajuku Girl even paired hers with overalls and a camo sweater.
It doesn’t get anymore yeeeeee-haw than that!
Conclusion: Gwen has consciously or subconsciously become just an iota more country since hooking up with the Boys ‘Round Here singer.
It seems Anaheim isn’t far enough away from Nashville. Ha!
