Ben Stiller just broke the record for the world’s longest… selfie stick, of course! What were you thinking?
The 50-year-old decided to do something that’s never been done before while premiering his newest comedy Zoolander 2 in London on Thursday night.
In an effort to capture everything going on, the actor whipped out a really, really, ridiculously long selfie stick on the red carpet while everyone — including cast members Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Owen Wilson, and Penelope Cruz — posed down below.

Turns out, it wasn’t as easy as it looks!
After all, the 28-foot stick with a camera clipped in at the top end could’ve been hazardous if something went wrong! Stiller shared:
