Blake Lively’s appearance at SNL 50 was a bold one that already has fans hotly debating… But how did SHE feel about it??
Amid all the It Ends With Us Justin Baldoni drama, the 37-year-old decided to show her face at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special, side-by-side with her husband Ryan Reynolds. A decision which had to have taken a lot of nerve, right?? We mean, public opinion isn’t exactly 100 percent in her favor.
She even appeared on camera as Ryan did a bit obliquely referencing their drama!

So what was going through her mind? Well, a source told People on Monday she was “nervous” to return to the spotlight amid her relentless legal battle! However, she was ultimately “excited to be out with friends and support Saturday Night Live,” said the insider:
“[Blake and Ryan] had a great time. It was nice getting out of the house and being around friends and familiar faces.”
Specifically:
“They stayed after the live show wrapped and mingled in the studio and were talking with everyone from Ben Stiller to Paul McCartney. They spent time talking with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson too. Blake also chatted with Dakota Johnson.”
Blake also hugged Amy Schumer, who previously voiced support for her.Boy, even if the night went smoothly for the couple, the legal battle had to be on EVERYONE’S mind!
