J.J. Abrams is one of the biggest filmmakers in Hollywood — and now, he can add Broadway singer to his long list of accolades!
For those who don’t know, the cantina song featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens was written by the director and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.
So to celebrate Star Wars Day on Wednesday, the masterminds performed their collaboration live on the streets of New York City as a part of Miranda’s #Ham4Ham series — a tradition in which the performer entertains crowds that are unable to get into Hamilton shows.
