On Tuesday, Christopher “Big Black” Boykin — who starred alongside Rob Dyrdek in Rob & Big — passed away at the age of 45. Although not confirmed, sources say he died from a heart attack Tuesday morning.

On their hit MTV show, “Big Black” was the Ridiculousness host’s bodyguard and best friend. It aired from 2006-2008.
Prior to his reality TV success, Boykin served in the U.S. Navy.
Ridiculousness co-host Chanel West Coast posted the following tribute on Twitter:
