David Mueller‘s debt has been paid.
The radio DJ who was found guilty of groping Taylor Swift during a photo op has officially paid the hitmaker the symbolic $1 he owed her. In case you forgot, after Mueller sued the blonde songstress for $3 million over claims she lied about the grope, the Gorgeous singer hit back with a countersuit.

The A-lister sued for only $1 as the case wasn’t about the money, rather, it was about the principle of the whole thing. Unsurprisingly, a federal jury in Denver ruled in Taylor’s favor. While the ruling against David should’ve been easy to pay off, T.Swift claimed in her Time “Silence Breakers” interview that she still hadn’t received the money from Mueller.
Well, it appears the money is currently en route to the chart topper, as David confirmed to the Associated Press that he sent the dollar on November 28. In fact, the scandalized industry vet chose to send the 27-year-old a Sacagawea coin in order to take one last jab at Taylor.
After providing proof of payment, Mueller explained:
“I mean if this is all about women’s rights. ├óΓé¼┬ª It’s a little poke at them, a little bit. I mean, I think they made this into a publicity stunt, and this is my life.”
Ugh. What a petty move.
Regardless, we’re sure Swift is just happy to be done with this man.
