Donald Trump clearly isn’t a student of presidential history, because if he were, he’d know now to use the phrase ‘Mission Accomplished’ over a military endeavor.
That’s the phrase George W. Bush infamously used about American military might in response to the September 11, 2001 attacks, only to find out that ‘Mission Accomplished’ meant, well, anything but that — and the phrase has been stuck to Bush ever since as a prime example of his ineptitude.
But Trump? Trump doesn’t give a shit! He’ll use it anyways!

Here’s what Trump tweeted early this morning in response to his regime’s use of airstrikes in Syria in response to a chemical weapons attack there several days ago (below):
A perfectly executed strike last night. Thank you to France and the United Kingdom for their wisdom and the power of their fine Military. Could not have had a better result. Mission Accomplished!

What a dumbass.
Not only are Syria’s problems FAR from over, but our problems with their major ally — RUSSIA! — are only just beginning.
In other words, it’s FAR from mission accomplished for the Cheeto-In-Chief…

Thankfully, at least Twitter was there to keep him in check (below):
Saying “Mission Accomplished” was stupid then. And it├óΓé¼Γäós even more stupid now. pic.twitter.com/2rmsHczsWx

I think Trump knows what “Mission Accomplished” means. This is high level trolling by the President.

Trump uses term “Mission Accomplished” in his tweet today as if he has no idea that it later came back to haunt George W. Bush for using that same expression. Could Trump be that dumb?! (spoiler alert: yes) pic.twitter.com/rj1fuuyvtU

Trump has accomplished nothing.
THIS is what a Mission Accomplished looks like — when Obama got Bin Laden: pic.twitter.com/e4uu1zk2qq

I didn├óΓé¼Γäót think I could be shocked by a tweet anymore but “mission accomplished” was so surprising I had to double check that it was not a spoof.

Being the astute student of presidential history that he is, you would think that Donald Trump would avoid any statement that implies a ‘mission accomplished’ in a troubled region

Ate breakfast. Perfectly executed meal. Could not have had a better result. Will never be hungry again. Mission Accomplished!
