On Wednesday, the industry vet took to Instagram to tease the release of a new single. In a post on her IG story, the chart topper revealed she was dropping the song at 8 a.m. ET. This is particularly exciting as the Beautiful singer hasn’t released a new album in SIX years.

Miz Aguilera seemingly addressed her delay in making new music, as she noted in her social media post:
“I love you. I know you’ve been waiting. I needed it to be perfect for you. For me. I’m ready. It’s time. I’m finally feeling liberated.”
Well, the genie has broken free from her bottle, because Accelerate (featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz) has dropped! Be sure to ch-ch-check it out for yourself (below)!
Not only was Accelerate produced by Kanye West, Che Pope, and Mike Dean, but it’s also the FIRST single off Christina’s upcoming album Liberation. Alongside the release of the new track, the blonde songstress’ team confirmed that the new LP will be out on June 15!
