At least he doesn’t have custody of those kids!
According to the Gary Post-Tribune, Joe Jackson charged the city of Gary, Indiana $5,000 to grace them with his presence at his son’s memorial service.
Mayor Rudy Clay believes that event honoring Michael Jackson will bring a profit to Gary once all donations are counted.
Ew! Why are all these people twisted?!
“It turned out beautiful and great and we’re not using taxpayers’ money,” said Clay, “so we should be given a blue ribbon for prudence.”
Or a kick in the ass for only caring about profit!
It is not known whether the money given to Joe and the musical group the Chi-Lites was for travel expenses, but we’re sure pretty sure it’s still skeezy!
Meanwhile, a MySpace page claiming to belong to Chi-Lites is promoting an August 22nd birthday party for Joe Jackson in Illiinois, in which proceeds will go to build a Jackson cultural center in Gary.
Riiiiiiiiight!!
