Just because he’s under house arrest in the Swiss Alps doesn’t mean he has to quit his day job!
The rights to Roman Polanski‘s new movie, The Ghost Writer, have been acquired by Twilight powerhouse, Summit Entertainment.
Summit plans to release the film, an adaptation of The Ghost by Robert Harris, throughout North America in the first half of 2010.
The Ghost Writer follows the story of a “former British Prime Minister [Pierce Brosnan]… who is holed up writing his memoirs on an island off the eastern seaboard of the U.S.”
When Brosnan’s assistant dies, “a professional ghostwriter [Ewan McGregor] is sent out to help him finish the book.”
Thoughts????
