This is actually quite sad.
Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris, whose father Captain Phil Harris recently passed away, was arrested after driving drunk and getting into a car crash in Seattle Thursday night.
The 24-year-old was taken to a nearby jail and booked with bail set for $1,500.
Not that his behavior is justified in any way since he could have seriously hurt himself or countless others, but he’s obviously in a great deal of pain and we hope he gets the help he needs.
But regardless of whatever horrible circumstances he’s in, drinking and driving should never be an option.
Our thoughts are with him and his family.
